All the fun of the Summer Fayre

Well – it’s been busy 10 days! I’ve had simply the best time out and about meeting so many lovely people at some fantastic Dorset Summer Fayres. First up was the gorgeous and quintessentially English Fayre at Dunbury School held in Winterbourne Whitechurch!  I was given the best glitter tattoo ever and was so sad when it finally came off 6 days later! Thankyou to everyone who came along. My pass the parcel really did take off and I think it’s safe to say got everyone in the party mood! I think the Prosecco in the centre of the parcel was a good Mummy motivator too 😉

The day after I went off to the amazing Archbishop Wake School in Blandford where the field was packed full of stalls and people not to mention the beautiful voices of the Decibelles Ladies Choir! On a vibrant, sunny day I met some brilliant local businesses and it was so nice to meet other stall holders. A great day was had by all – and especially all the families who booked lots of parties – clearly the people of Blandford like a good party! Thankyou so much to everyone – it’s lovely for a young new business like mine to get such warmth and positivity!

Onwards to my own children’s’ Summer Fayre in Bere Regis and well – it was fantastic! My children’s house at school won the day for the first time ever (yay) and the cake’s left the Cake stall the fastest I’ve ever seen it! Wowzers! I took quite a few local bookings which was just the best feeling and the support was tremendous. My purse is going to take a while to get over it – but as they say – it’s all for a good cause!

Liliput First School was my next Summer stop and goodness me these guys know how to rock a Summer Fayre! They are the absolute pro’s! Highly organised, it was a brilliant day and I had the pleasure to meet a delightful craftswoman whilst I was there who joined me in soaking up the atmosphere throughout the day – not to mention minding my stall whilst I had a nosey around at some brilliant local businesses! The School’s bar was fully loaded and I think it’s safe to say a fun day was had by all – not least by all the boys taking home piles of footballs that they had won!

So – thankyou everyone!  Everyone who organised and put these brilliant events on – and thankyou to all of you who came and said Hello!  It really was a treat to meet so many people.  It was even better to hear the reaction to the business.  It’s lovely that you all see the point to what I am doing and understand the importance of making the small changes that we can in order to be as friendly to out planet as possible.  I’m off now to get the next box ready – Super Mario here we come!!
